Dear Jeremy,

We have just got back from a week skiing in Flaine. We booked our lessons with Grand Massif International Ski School and my experience has made me want to email you to compliment your instructors. We had our lessons with your school last April and we all had a great time and made good progress, which I thought was the norm. However, the standard of teaching I had this year was nothing like as good as I had with Luigi last year and although it has taken me a year to drop you a line, I just wanted to let you know how excellent he was. My son Jack and myself, (Lisa) were both in Luigi's group, he made the lessons fun & enjoyable but he was also a very good TEACHER and I know now just how good he was because our instructor this year was really more of a guide who just gave us pointers from time to time! I feel that I made no progress on last year and although we all had a good time, neither myself, Jack or my daughter Issy (she had Floss & Alex last year) were as happy with the lessons as we were with you in 2010. Please pass on our regards and belated thanks to Luigi (we nicknamed him Hair Bear!) and tell him that he is, without a doubt the best instructor we have had in all our 5 years of skiing. We hadn't done much skiing before this holiday and were confident at all but after 2 private lessons with him, were competently flying down red runs by the end of the week and had the best time. I have just returned back to the UK from a great time in Les 2 Alpes and I just wanted to say thank you to Lucca. He was so patient with me and made the lessons really enjoyable and helped me a lot with my confidence. He is a credit to your ski school, we hope to come back next year and I will definitely book lessons again with your ski school. Thank you again for making my week so good.

we've just returned from a holiday at Les 2 Alps and wish to congratulate Daniel who looked after my son Ben Hayes aged 8 years last week. Ben was a novice and on the last day came down the blue runs at the top confidentally. When he said goodbye and thankyou to Daniel he cried as he said he would not see Daniel again. He was a very nice pleasant man and was so friendly. Please can we commend him to you. Others in our party were pleased with Fabio and Mark as well. please give Daniel our thanks.

It was just to say a great big thank you as I was in his beginner snow boarding class last week and if it wasnt for him, I wouldnt have made it down the Blue run that we did, and I wouldnt have enjoyed my very first snowboarding experience half as much! This is actually a message for Robin and Alessandro as well as yourself. Following an enjoyable although not extremely successful week for myself at Les Deux Alpes in August. Sue ,my wife, and I have just returned from a week in Andorra where by applying everything I was taught by your two excellent instructors I have successfully skied down a mountain using Red, Blue and Green runs. So you can tell Robin he certainly was not a failure, it just took time for me. Also I will still keep Alessandro to his promise of bringing me down from top to bottom of L2A soon I hope. Sue and I both look forward to returning to L2A in the near future and again availing ourselves of your services. Again please pass on a big thank you to the two rogues in question. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at the European Ski School who made our holiday to Les Deux Alpes so good. I'd particularly like to thank our instructor Mark, who was attentive, dedicated, and, at the end of what must have been a long season, still enthusiastic. I was a student in your school at Les Deux Alpes 8-13th March, as a first time skier, originally with Matio (not sure of exact spelling!!), and then with Renaldo. I wanted to thank you all for your understanding enthusiasm, support, and excellent tutoring. I was on my first skiing week at the age of 55, and I really enjoyed it. I will never be a downhill racer, but I am sure I shall continue, coming with my children and perhaps grandchildren in time. I was really impressed with how much you all cared and tried so hard to make sure everyone in the class enjoyed themselves and made progress. I finished with a gentle blue, and an ambition to progress. Many many thanks

Just a quick note of thanks for your assistance with instruction last week. I would like to pay particular thanks to Gerald who knocked 22 years of rust of me and got me going well on the blue runs within two days. Mattia also did a great job with our two boys getting them from zero to level 2 Gold.

Hello ESS,

Just wanted to say a big thanks for providing a great service and enhancing the enjoyment of our ski holiday in Les 2 Alpes during the second week of April this year. As a family group of mixed abilities we had some reservations about how lessons would work out with timings and meeting points etc. I'm glad to say everything worked well, we all had a great time, learnt a lot from the instruction and the extra services provided. Please pass on thanks to our instructors Matteo, Luca and Nele.

If i can offer some minor negative feedback - we walked around in ski boots quite a bit to find the ski garden on day one - maybe some better signs would help in future?

We hope to be back next year

I would like to pass on my thanks and graitiude to Fabio after my 8 year old son Thomas Cornish unfortunately broke his leg on the 3rd of March whilst in his care one of your ski schools.
The professionalism and assistance that Fabio offered me and Tom was absolutely superb.
Even after Thomas was airlifted from the Les Cretes area Fab went out of his way to assist us in the medical centre and even dropped us back to the hotel after having his leg plastered and then took the time to visit our hotel with Toms log book and medal.
This was our second trip to Les Deux Alpes staying at the Hotel Aalborg and I can honestly say that your ski school is the best I have encountered after many years skiing in France..
I am hoping that Tom will make a full recovery without any damage to his confidence and we can come back next year to sample the superb offerings of Les Deux Alpes.

Once again many thanks to Fabio and your team of instructors who have taught Tom in the past.

Many thanks for all of your recent help in organising ski lessons for last week. I had a fantastic time and my instructor, Matteo Giordano was absolutely brilliant - everything was clearly explained, the lessons were highly engaging, and he ably encouraged everyone to get to the best level they could.

I'm planning to come back to Les Deux Alpes next year and will certainly be booking my lessons with yourselves again.

Dear All at the European Ski School,

not enough people these days give good feedback so I wanted to thank and congratulate you.

We booked online and booking in at the ski school office in Les Deux Alpes on arrival was easy, efficient and pleasant.

There were four in our party and we all booked on Level 1 snowboarding in a private lesson. We were allocated Alex as our instructor and one of our lesson times was changed to ensure we were with Alex for all three days which I found very thoughtful.

Alex was an excellent excellent instructor and I would certainly recommend her to anyone else be they boarders or skiers as I know she does both. She was patient as we were all at slightly different levels, (unbeknown to us) made the lessons fun and pushed us to do better and better.

If we revisit L2A we'll be booking back in with Alex! (Not sure whether she'd be happy to see us again though!!)

I have just been on holiday to Les Deux Alps and forgot to pick up a questionaire at the ski school meeting, but I wanted to leave some feedback:

I had 6 group lessons with Gaetan from Sunday 13th March and just wanted to say that it was absolutely brilliant, Gaetan was a great instructor and really looked after me, even when I completely freaked out when we had no visability! He really took the time to teach each of us very well and I felt very safe with him, he also took the time to take us to the top of the mountain, to the snow park to try some jumps and the half pipe and also some off piste boarding. I would just like to say thank you for a fantastic holiday and I will definately return to Les Deux Alps and seek lessons from Gaetan if possible in the future. If you could please pass this on to Gaetan, I would appreciate it.

We have just returned from Les 2 Alpes & I just wanted to drop you a line to say how pleased we were with the tuition provided by the ESS. We had 7 children in our party, all of whom attended ski school. My own 2 were both in a beginners level 0 class - Seth (age 6) with Cris & Sylvie (4) with Isabel. Not only was the tuition excellent but I was particularly impressed with how kind & children-friendly both instructors were. Their English was also of a very good standard. This is in contrast to previous personal experience with the ESF.

My friends echo these comments regarding their children; they all had a great time & improved their ski-ing enormously.
